For most of us, The first thing to do in the morning is to check the phone for social media notifications. Which is totally wrong, This is the time to be productive and to avoid any social media distraction.

As per the report, over 100 million people are suffering from social media addiction in today’s time.

One thing is for certain, you are spending too much time on social media. Posting about Your lives and scrolling the lives of others. Do we really enjoy doing it. Or it is due to the Peer Pressure or social influence ?

Some have this habit of checking social media early morning. The first hour of the morning is not to scroll the newsfeed. This is the time to be productive and to avoid any social media distraction.

Turning off social media notifications is the first thing to start with. You can do it in the settings section of the app.
After this, you won’t be distracted by the shares and posts of your friends.

Keep yourself busy

One reason we use social media so much is that we are idle. We have nothing to do. When you are doing something, you will not check the posts. It is when you don’t have work and feel idle. You scroll feed.

Early morning routine

Are you those who check their phone first thing in the morning? You got to change it. Avoid using your phone before and after bed.
Many of us have the habit of scrolling news feeds instead of reading or sleeping at night. Also using the phone early in the morning is not good.

Social presence is not so important

Thinking too much about your online presence leads to stress. Being anxious about your posts or your friends’ posts is not a good sign.
Focusing less on these silly things will give you more time to enjoy life.

Change the Focus

It’s high time to dig out the artist in you. Are you a singer, a writer, or a dancer? Let’s find out. The time spent on social media could be used to sharpen your skills and to find out the artist in you.

Use it less

Yes, it is easier said than done. But, you should give it a try. Limit the time you spent scrolling the post. Also, you don’t have to post everything online. As No one is asking you to do it.
