1. Sharing
Starting with images, videos, contacts, and even location. There is so much you can share here.
2. Activate two-step verification
To add an extra layer of security to your account it, go to settings, then to account, and two-step verification. Here you can create a six-digit pin. This will be used for adding your WhatsApp account to a new phone. Bonus: Add an email address in case you forget the pin.
3. Add contact to the home screen
On WhatsApp, you can add contacts to the home screen, great if you regularly chat with them.
To do that, open the contact in WhatsApp. Tap the three-dot beside the contact name. Select the last option and then select Add a shortcut. This will add the contacts to the home screen.
4. Creating strike-through text
Did you know you can strike through a text in WhatsApp? It’s very simple, put a tilde (~) at the beginning and end of the text.
5. Mute contacts
You have people texting you for no reason. Salesperson or insurance person. If so, you can mute them. So you won’t get a notification every time they text you.

Here’s something new. If you go to settings, then account and privacy after that. You will get the option to untick the box labeled read receipts. By doing it, neither you nor your contact will know, when you have read the message.
8. Turn off the last seen
To do that, go to settings, then to Account and Privacy after that. After that, tap the last seen option. You can either set it up for everyone, my contacts, or nobody else. If you select contacts, only your contacts will see your last seen and no one else.
9. Use WhatsApp on a laptop
Whatsapp web is a feature of WhatsApp. Here you can run WhatsApp on your PC and laptop.
For doing that, Go to web.whatsapp.com on your laptop. Here you will get a QR code. Now open WhatsApp on your mobile and tap the 3 dot menu. After that, select WhatsApp Web. A QR code reader will open.
The last step is to scan the QR code with your phone. WhatsApp will open on your laptop.
On WhatsApp, sending locations is very easy. Tap the paper clip option in the message field. After that, select the location. You can even send your live location, this option is too available.
