- The first modern computer was a calculating machine. So, you can say that the first modern computer was a huge calculator, shocking but true.
- A computer works on algorithms, no matter what you are doing. From simple addition to coding a website, everything runs on algorithms. Algorithms are the instructions given to the computer.
- Ram is the memory of the computer. It is the brain of the computer. Without it, a computer will not work.
- Viruses are harmful to the computer. Viruses are programs that damage the computer. It makes the computer slow, affects its performance, and can even crash the hard disk.
- A typewriter is the longest word you can type on the keyboard, using the top row of the keyboard.
- Doug Engelbart invented the first computer mouse in 1964, which was made of wood.
- The giants of computers – HP MICROSOFT, APPLE, all were started in the garage.
- The first computer weighed over 27 tonnes, its name was ENIAC.
- 90 percent of the global currencies are on computers, and only 10 percent are in cash.
- The first known computer programmer was ADA LOVELACE.
- The cost of the first GIGABYTE drive was $40,000.
