Yes, You can Recall an Email in Outlook. Both Outlook and Gmail have this Feature. You can easily recall an email after sending them to others. This is a unique feature that most of us are not aware of. Recalling an email can save you from being embarrassed for sending the wrong email.

But there is a catch, an email can only be recalled, if it has not been opened by the receiver. If they have opened the email then you can’t recall it. The timeframe within which you can recall an email is also very less. But, Still, it’s a lifesaver when you want to correct the email.

Outlook is a Product of Microsoft, This is why only people who have Microsoft Exchange email addresses. can use this feature and recall an Email. Generally, Corporate Companies use Microsoft Exchange Email for their work. This feature is available for Microsoft 365 Subscribers also.

How it is done:

Open the Sent Items Folder.

Open the email you want to recall.

In the above menu, you will find Message Tab. Select Actions> Recall This Message. Or, Select Message Tab> More Commands> Point To Actions> Recall The Message.

Delete unread copies of the message, delete unread copies and replace them with a new message, Click any of these, and finally Click OK.
