Google Search is one of the most popular search engines used by millions of people daily. It is used to search for information on almost any topic.

Google collects data from all the websites on the internet and put them in the index, and when someone comes to Google and searches for something, It looks into their database, and if something matches with the search keywords, it shows it in the results. This is how every Search Engine works.

Google has programs called spiders, and the job of these spiders is to crawl the internet, read and understand every article, website, and blog on the internet. While reading through these websites, if these spiders find something interesting or new they index them and stored them in the Google database. Then when you do a Search, Google crawlers look at all the websites in its database to find an absolute or appropriate match to your search.

How does Google Search work

Why do people do Google Search?

When people go to google.com to do a Google search, they do it for a reason, they are looking for something either a question, suggestion, or even a review, they don’t just type anything they like. There is a motive behind that, they are seeking something. They are looking for answers and facts that could be either for buying, learning or simply curiosity.

Here are some of the reasons why people do Google searches:

  • They might be looking for a website, whose name or Url they don’t know.
  • They might be looking for facts on history, weather, celebrity, or just for curiosity.
  • They might be looking for things to buy, on the basis of reviews.

Every time you have questions, or if you want to know something you do a Google search. Google literally can answer all your questions, provided someone has ever written about it. But everything on Google is not 100 percent correct, this is why never blindly believe everything on the internet. The best way will be to look for references backing the facts before considering them.
