“Don’t talk to me” said Ankur, “you have to listen today,” said Rashmi, “I don’t want to stay with you, I am leaving” said Rashmi and walked out of the house. “So do I.,” said Ankur and closed the door.
It had been two months since Ankur and Rashmi got married; They had a love marriage against the will of their parents. Initially, Everything was fine, but soon things got out of line.
In the 2nd week of the marriage, the love was lost somewhere. “When things are not in control, you should not control them” Rashmi remembers her father’s words.
“I can’t tolerate you, It’s over” Ankur used to say often. Does love have an expiry date, the person whom we love so much, why do we end up hating them? Rashmi and Ankur were love birds, from the first day at the college till they were working together in the same office. They had to go through a lot of things to get married, and the sole reason their parents agreed was because of the deep love between them.
“I am getting late, I won’t be having breakfast.” said Ankur, “wait, take the lunch” Rashmi came out of the kitchen to see he had left. Rashmi too didn’t have her breakfast, “what to do, the relationship is getting toxic day by day” Rashmi started crying and cursing the day she met him.
“I won’t be coming home today, I had some work at the office” Ankur had messaged her. He didn’t bother to call her. This was not the first time Ankur used to do it often. It was not Rashmi who doubted his intentions, but being his wife once, she realized. Ankur didn’t like her working after marriage, she had left the job to save her marriage. Love and doubt are common, the person you love, you started doubting eventually.
“We need to talk,” replied Rashmi. “I am busy right now, don’t call me” answered Ankur. “we will talk in the morning” replied Ankur and switched off the phone.
“Do we still love each other?” asked Rashmi the next day. “Why to ask me, ask yourselves,” replied Ankur. Both of them were so busy speaking that they hardly had time to hear each other. A question is followed by an answer, not a question. If both are asking, then who will answer what went wrong.
