Spending long hours at the office and skipping lunch/dinner never helps. Working for a long does not prove you are the best employee. Yes, of course, if you do the most work at a time then it can be said.
There are too many negative effects, of not managing the work-life balance, stress, anxiety, anger, tiredness, and aggressiveness to name a few.
Few don’t do the work at appropriate times, keeping it pending, they don’t follow deadlines and always have an excuse for not meeting it; they face problems in managing their personal life; it impacts professionals too.
Not only the employees, but the employer too should work to maintain the work-life balance of its employees. This in return will help them only, the employees will be productive and responsible for the job.
Here are some things to keep the Work-Life Balance
Don’t be a multi-tasker
It’s not possible to be productive both in personal and professional life simultaneously. Some days you can do that but not always. Doing both things all together is not a good idea. Either you do the work first and then get down to read or vice versa. But whatever you do, be flexible. Don’t make a tight schedule, keep room for adjustments. Try to make work fun
Love your job
If you don’t love your job, you can never excel in your career. Loving the job means enjoying what you do. Someday it might not be sunny. But otherwise, you should be happy doing it. There should be one thing for why you are doing it, except the money. How many of us are passionate about our job? This is the reason most are not happy about it.
Give Some time to yourself
Work is important, and so do physical and mental health, as simple as that. If you are having trouble, speak to your manager. If there are personal issues, fix them. Don’t ignore or hide them, it never works. Take a break whenever required, and don’t always think about work. During the day, keep aside at least 30 minutes for yourselves to relax.

Breaks are important, taking them makes you more productive and efficient. Taking small breaks in between work is highly beneficial.
I don’t like working on weekends, this is time to spend with family and friends. Moreover, the body and mind need to relax to function properly.
Maintaining a work-life balance is very important nowadays. Working long hours or making excuses for missed deadlines never helps. Although most of us are doing it. Maintaining a work-life balance helps both personally and professionally, so try doing it. This is easy, you just have to do a couple of things.
