Mediation is needed not only for the mind but for the body, too. Trust me, there are countless benefits to it. Keep reading the article.

Definition of meditation

It is paying attention to your breath. The way you breathe in and breathe out. A lot of things go around this process. Pay attention to your breath and nothing else. During meditation, you think only about the breath and nothing else. Because This is the time for connecting to yourself.

You meditate to clear your mind. There is so much in your brain. Meditation filters it out. Important things, things that are not. Right things, things that are not. Mediation is easy, but it does require some time. I always say, Doing something is more important than mastering it. When you start meditating, you will lose focus. The mind will go wandering around, but that should not stop you from doing it. It is quite natural even for experts.

How to meditate

Why I meditate

Meditation is important to me, so it is for you and everyone. It’s not a medicine but it cures. It cures your anxiety, depression, and many more things. There is a time in your life when you lose control, you are out of your mind and you don’t know what to do. This is the time to meditate. It clears your mind, lowers stress, and boosts confidence.

When I meditate, I get to know myself better. I get answers to questions like purpose, goals, dreams, and happiness. I explore new things about myself. Meditation improves focus and concentration. To improve concentration, you should practice it. If you want to build confidence, do mediation. As I said, there is so much meditation to do for you.

How to meditate in 5 steps

Mediation is easy, so don’t make it tough. If you want to do it, follow the steps.

1.Sit down- Relax and sit down.

2. know your limit- don’t be a pro, know your limits. If you are just starting, keep the timeless. 5 minutes will be enough.

3. Feel your breath-  Focus on your breath. Feel the sensation as the air goes in and goes out.

4. Don’t lose Focus- If you lose focus in this process. And Your mind l starts wandering. Don’t panic. You only have to bring your attention again to breathing.

5. Be gentle- When you are done, don’t open your eyes all of a sudden. Rather do it slowly. The slower, the better. Rightly said.

Conclusion

Is meditation easy or hard?

If you ask me, it is both. Initially, it is hard but after some time it gets easier. The main challenge is to do it. The best way is to do it regularly, even if it is for 5 minutes. You might be motivated about mediation and will gradually start doing it. But how long are you going to continue, will you give up after the 1 try or will you not.

You might not like it, but you must do it. Make it a habit. Yes, you have to make room for it in your daily schedule. Practice it daily, even if it is for 5 minutes. Read about and watch videos on meditation. Learn about mediation as much as you can.  If you meditate daily, gradually it will become a habit
