Deleting your Instagram Account means deleting your profiles, Photos, Videos, and followers too. After you delete your Instagram account then everything related to your account will be permanently removed.

1. Go to the Delete your account page. You will have to log into your Instagram account

2. Choose the option from the drop-down, stating why you want to delete the account.
3. Re-enter your password.
4. Only when you have selected the reason from the drop-down, then only you can delete your account permanently.

Temporarily deactivating your account is better than deleting it permanently. Once you do it, all your photos, Videos, and everything associated with your account will be removed.
