So many friends, so many companions,
Yet why I feel, deep shallow within.
Got a family, got a pet,
Even got a beloved,
But, what more, A soul needs
Why do is there,
A shallow within.

Mention the leaders
Can, an answer be sought,
Got a bunch of books,
Got the whole internet,
Still can’t search for one thing
Why do is there a shallow within.

Causing all this mess,
Or is there a pang of guilt,
More within than thy soul,
Why is there emptiness,
Even though, nothing is to fill.
Yet, I search Within
